3D and Digital Illustration
3d art is amazing! The medium offers the illustrator a broad variety of options when it comes to rendering. Although the process of creating an object in 3d can be time-consuming, the rewards are enormous. An object can be rotated, moved, lit and textured in a million different ways. Digital art, by which is commonly meant illustrations created with such programs as Photoshop, GIMP or Painter, is renowned for its extreme flexibility and ability to emulate almost any style. For the 3d illustrator, the use of these tools is necessary in order to, at the very least, create attractive textures for an object, but in compositing, the advantages of digital art make themselves keenly felt.
